TPDA wants each dancer to receive the level of training and attention that they need. Our leveled program ensures that our dancers are in the appropriate class, which will help them progress at a consistent rate.
We ask that all dancers interested in taking leveled ballet at TPDA participate in a placement class. In these classes, our instructors will evaluate each dancer and place them in the appropriate class.
Starting during the 23-24 dance season, we will be combining several levels of ballet into Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
Formerly titled Pink Ballet, Elementary Ballet 1 is TPDA's introductory classes for students interested in serious ballet. This class is open for both Elite and Recreational students.
Formerly titled Lilac Ballet, this class is the first official Elite track ballet class a student may take. As with all of our Elite classes, Beginning Elite Ballet is by placement only.
Intermediate Elite Ballet consists of Ruby, Royal, and Amethyst Ballet. Students that are placed into one of these categories are required to take both Intermediate Elite Ballet classes each week.
Advanced Elite Ballet consists of Burgundy, Navy, and Black Ballet. Students that are placed into one of these categories are required to take both Advanced Elite Ballet classes each week.
